Mark joined the firm as a consultant solicitor on 1st June 2017. Mark specialises in regulatory law, with a particular focus on healthcare, and also criminal law. Mark is a Solicitor-Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience in both the Civil and Criminal Courts. He brings to Osmond & Osmond his knowledge and advocacy skills allowing the firm to represent clients directly both in the Civil and Criminal Courts.
Mark worked in the Dispute Resolution Department of Slaughter and May between 1976-2004 where he qualified as solicitor, and where he and senior partner Will Osmond worked together. So as to expand on his interest in advocacy Mark then worked as a Senior Crown Prosecutor with the CPS from 2004-2010. He subsequently went on to practise Regulatory Law at The General Pharmaceutical Council until 2017.
Mark also sits as a Solicitor Member at the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal, having been appointed by the Master of the Rolls.
